How do I give?

How do I include LBHCF in an obituary?

Many newspapers, funeral homes and internet sites have suggested wording for obituaries.  Most frequently used wording is:  “In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LightBridge Hospice Community Foundation, 6155 Cornerstone Court East, Suite 220, San Diego, CA 92121.”

How do I make a matching gift?

Employers often offer a matching program as an employee benefit.  This means they will match all, or a pre-determined percentage, of an employee’s contribution to the charity (or non-profit organization) designated by the employee.  Check with your employer’s Human Resources Department for details on how to make a Matching Gift.

How do I give my time?

There are a variety of ways to make a difference through the gift of time. At LBHCF, volunteer opportunities can include assistance with fundraising events (i.e. the LightBridge 5K), community outreach, marketing efforts, grants and administrative activities.
