End of life services rooted in Judaism
The Jewish Hospice Fund is a dedicated fund created to support the provision of end of life services rooted in an understanding and appreciation of Judaism and Jewish life by professionals who have been educated in the religious traditions and culture of Judaism and the Jewish people.
- The Fund underwrites educational programs for professionals to familiarize them with the unique needs and concerns of Jewish patients and their families so they appreciate and are sensitive to the diversity of Jewish expression within the Jewish community.
- Through the generous support of donors, we are also able to fund hospice care for those who otherwise have no means or insurance coverage to provide this special benefit at this most vulnerable time.
- Donations to this fund support special projects and programs for Jewish hospice and palliative patients and the Jewish community.
- The Jewish Hospice Fund sponsors hospice and palliative care educational programs for the San Diego Jewish Community.
